Heart Chakra – 4th chakra (circulatory, unconditional love)
This chakra located at the center of the chest corresponds with the heart, circulatory system. It is associated with the thymus gland, which regulates the immune system. The fourth chakras theme is “the right to love”. This chakra rules the circulatory system and heart. Issues of co-dependency, possessiveness, jealousy and sorrow can be linked here.
Throat Chakra –5th chakra (respiratory, communication)
The throat chakra is located in the neck, throat, jaw and mouth. It relates to your inner truth and your unique voice and the way you express yourself. Creativity, writing and speaking are expressions of the fifth chakra. The theme of this chakra is the “right to speak”. Issues such as fear of speaking up and not expressing your true self can be traced to this chakra.
Brow Chakra –6th chakra (endocrine, intuition)
The brow chakra is located in the center of the forehead. It is associated with the endocrine and nervous system, and the pituitary gland. This chakra is often referred to as the third eye, as it deals with matters of clairvoyance, telepathy, intuition, dreaming, imagination and visualization. The theme of this chakra is the “right to see”. Balance may be an issue as well as lack of recognizing patterns and difficulty visualizing, suffering an illusion can all be associated with this chakra.
Crown Chakra –7th chakra (central nervous system, universal consciousness)
The crown chakra is located at the top of the head. It is associated with the pineal gland, brain and nervous system. This chakra relates less to the physical body than the others and more to consciousness. The theme of this chakra is “the right to know”. Issues of apathy, addicted to materialism, lack of spirituality may lead here.
