The Art in Art

The purpose of our art practice is to sharpen both our outward vision and our inner knowing. We want to discover ways to express the shared truth of the human experience in this moment and space. “It is through art,” said Oscar Wilde, “and through art only, that we can realize our perfection.”

We can forget labels of “fine” or “high” or “low” art. All we’re looking for as artists is the truth of our human experience, and to be ourselves as we are. Art is an expression of true being. That’s the art in art.
