Learning How to Embrace the Impossible

by Crystal PresenceOMTimes Digital eZineAcknowledging the exploration of what we know is possible. Embrace the impossible and bring forth a new experience of what it means to be human.

“Our hearts know that a more beautiful world is possible, but our minds do not know how it’s possible.” ~ Charles Eisenstein

As pioneering spirits, we love to enhance our lives with the exploration of what is possible and learn to embrace the impossible.

We explore with an underlying knowing that what we want can happen. If we envision and dream about it, we know that it can be realized somehow and somewhere. We can learn to embrace the impossible.  With the rapid growth of technology we also have an understanding that some things that we have considered impossible are inevitable in our lifetime. What if we embrace something that we think is impossible? What if we reach for a state of consciousness that allows us a new context of living, a context that is free of separation, greed, deceit, and war? While some are cynical about humans ever-changing, simultaneously there is a growing number of leading-edge thinkers who are stretching their imagination for the possibility of a new humanity.

The question becomes how we can make the transition from the old story of separation, competition and self-interest to a new story of connection, empowerment and caring?  How can we learn to embrace the impossible?

As the old continuity is breaking down with the social and ecological crisis, how can we bring forth something new? One way is to stop trying to figure it all out. Creating space to allow new insights to appear on how we can change minds in subtle and empowering ways. A great example is when the United Nations called upon the leading edge transformational coach George Pransky for assistance in changing the minds of law officers who have been participating in horrific acts of-of abuse and torture. Also the many others such as Barbara Mark Hubbard and Jean Houston who are speakers, authors, and facilitators for changing the way we perceive and interact with our world, reminding us how each of us is a unique part of the impulse of creation.

The following are tips on how we too can be part of the resolution in bringing forth a new way of being human in our world and embrace the impossible….

#1 – Willingness to let go of trying, control and manipulation. Allowing ourselves to be guided to new insights, perception, and Letting go and connecting with our source and internal guidance system.

#2 – Realizing that our suffering is generated from our thoughts, feelings, and admitting that we are not victims and knowing that we are one with the source that is always with us guiding with ways to end our suffering.

#3 – Being curious about the true nature of life. Asking questions such a what the nature of experiencing the humanity of whole being wellness, sustainability and empowerment is?

#4 – Opening to the idea that well-being is the nature of our being.

#5 – Realizing that we are energy beings with thoughts and feelings that are shaping our reality.

#6 – Embracing the consciousness and senses that allow us to experience our reality.

#7 – Being grateful for the evolution that is unraveling in and around us.

#8 – Cultivating the ability to have peace of mind. Letting go of focusing on thoughts and feelings that are not in alignment with our intent for wellbeing. Knowing that our thoughts and feelings of the past, present and future are ours to form the bend.

#9 – Bringing forth the bodily felt sense of what we have thought was impossible.

#10 – Moving our energy from the inside out.  In his well-respected book, Shaking Medicine: The Healing Power of Ecstatic, Bradford Keeney, Ph.D. explores the history of healing through movement. His work is exemplified by the time our country sent a group of therapists to another country where the people had been through an unspeakable The people affected did their best to sit and talk to the well-meaning therapists. Finally, they asked the therapists to leave so they could gather with their people to dance around the fire, shake, sing and express their feelings to bring healing to their community.

#11 – Getting clear how the welfare of each of us enhances the welfare of all. With the growing confirmation how each of us affects the whole, we are changing our thinking of how we can shape our world.
