OMTIMES: Your new book, The Secret of Your Immortal Self (Llewellyn Worldwide, 2015) presents a path for readers to achieve union with their immortal self. How would you define this “Immortal Self?”
Guy Finley: First, and perhaps most simply said, the Immortal Self is that greater part of our consciousness that knows that whatever seems to block our way along the upper path is actually a part of the Way; each “boulder” that seems to come between us and our highest aspirations is really a form of celestial invitation to meet, and to rise above whatever limitations still remain unseen in our present level understanding.
As such, this level of Self is fearless because it knows, without having to think about it, that everything it encounters in life exists for a soul purpose: to strengthen, purify, and perfect its being all the more.
