Merging Science and Spirituality

Human behavior has reached the height of ridiculousness…there is very little in the world that is of practical value. – ‘What Is God? Rolling Back the Veil’

Such is the nature of human behavior as we attempt to navigate the hostile environment of our own thoughts. For the world, unto itself, is nothing but a lush, supportive and giving environment when we remain connected to it. Life is but ineffable beauty when we remain connected to each other and our true nature as part of the Infinite.

Thus, it is always a thrill when we do find like-minded souls to join with, have fun and maybe get a little ridiculous! For ridiculousness has its positive qualities as it begets inspiration and imagination, opening the door to higher consciousness and new possibility.

HISTORY AND THE NOW MOMENT

My good friend, Stu Zimmerman, in his personal quest to go deeper, has found the ridiculousness in many old, limiting beliefs, launching a global portal toward re-opening the dialogue in a playful and loving way on a global scale. His project is THE NOW TESTAMENT (www.thenowtestament.com). Here’s his mission (not impossible): The Now Testament is on a mission to awaken and empower our inherent freedom, joy, innocence and playfulness! We do this by sharing entertaining, practical content from many scientific and spiritual sources for us to directly experience more love of life, and ultimately the truth of our infinite being.

And it is time. It is time for the fusion of science (materialism) with spirituality (non-material) in recognition of the indivisible interconnectedness of the two, as the ONE, known as the Divine Paradox. In reality, science and spirituality are the outputs of the left and right hemisphere of the brain. Rather than argue which sphere of the brain is more useful, let us come together in appreciation of the significance and relevance of both. It is both halves of the brain joining together via the cables of the corpus callosum that generate the 3D images we see with our eyes.

The first stages of an accepted unified point of view seem to have been received by the scientific community with the historical announcement of the “discovery” of the Higgs Boson particle in July, 2012; what scientists are calling, the “God Particle”. Few details have been revealed as scientists continue to study the “data”, but empirical proof has come about to underscore what esoterics have long since understood – form comes from formlessness.

It won’t be much longer until science proves that formlessness is not “empty”, in the context that infinite possibility is “floating” out in space just waiting to couple with consciousness to beget form. It is human consciousness that is the bridge between the material and non-material world.

Can the religious community accept the validity of the scientific study of God–as Creation–from the left half of the brain? After all, both are ultimately pursuing the same end.

Let us all join together in acknowledgement that we are the authors of our own human suffering, and by that end, also the authors of creating an abundant, free, and joy-filled existence when we let go of outdated, ridiculous beliefs and resultant behavior that no longer serve us. Let us create a global dialogue asking, “What is God?” and “What does The Now Testament mean to me?” Heaven on Earth is not just a dream. Let’s play!
