Healing & Recovery – Day 15
30 Days to Healing and Recovery Day 15 by Dana Jacoviello
Today’s message: Do something fun outside of your comfort zone. It does not have to be something extravagant or reckless. Do not mistake it for that. We become overwhelmed with life, work, and bills that we forget to enjoy life. Basically, we forget to live. One or twice a week this should be something we are all doing. No boundaries or limits. Just go out and have fun. Be silly. Be a kid. Go to an amusement park or a water park. I want this challenge/activity to be childlike and fun. Just because we are adults doesn’t mean we have to forget what it is like to live young and carefree. I firmly believe in being a kid at heart. Keep that childlike enthusiasm for life. In doing this, you will always have a safe place to go. There is nothing wrong with leaving our realities of life to escape once in awhile as long as we recognize it is just that…an temporary escape.
