30 Days to a New You Day 19

Challenge Yourself to Honor Your Beliefs Honor and respect your beliefs as well as other individual’s beliefs. Identifying and honoring your personal beliefs is necessary, but it is equally important to acknowledge that not everyone has the same belief system as you. Having the courage to express your beliefs to others and not being afraid of what they might think involves fortitude. Allowing yourself to be who you really are with all people requires that you stand in your power. Standing in your power simply means “owning” what you believe to be true. Emanating this power in your words and actions requires no effort or thought when you allow yourself to just BE. It definitely does take courage to be your authentic self while being true to you.

Questions to Consider 1. I find it easy / difficult to honor and respect my beliefs. 2. What are some of your personal beliefs? 3. What are some of your personal beliefs that you recognize as differing from others’ beliefs? 4. How do you feel when you acknowledge this? 5. I find it hard to discuss these topics ________________________________________. 6. Why? 7. I find it easy to discuss these topics ________________________________________. 8. Why?

The challenge I am offering is based on excerpts from my book, 28 Days to a New YOU, and concentrates on assisting you in shifting your perception. As you shift your perception, you will change your experiences, including those in the past, the ones you are presently experiencing and those that have yet to happen. This transformation involves altering your mindset and attitude as well as your thoughts, words and actions. I will be with you every step of the way during this challenge – to support and encourage you through interaction on the articles I have written.
