Your Personal Beliefs – Assessing Your Habits and Patterns by Wendy Kolanz
Today is about putting information and practices to work.
Look at your lists from Days 22 – 24; your feelings and questions, patterns and habits, and childhood memories. Contemplate any correspondences that jump out at you. Do this by first practicing breath awareness, and then sit quietly with eyes closed and contemplate what came up for you. Follow with savasana of 5-10 minutes or longer, and when you come out of savasana, write down what you saw.
This practice is something you can do when old patterns and habits are causing you distress. First settle down the body by calming the mind with pranayama practices, asana practice, walking, listening to music, chanting, dancing, etc. You must relax. Then engage in the practice above.
Our journey through life, with or without our conscious intent for a spiritual journey, will happen.
