Sharing Heaven

Listening softly to your thoughts and their sounds,
I savor each one, as a jewel that I’ve found,
loving pauses, inflections, the cadence of verbs,
quickening with excitement,
sharing something we’ve learned. Whatever the tone, the rhythm and rhyme,
your song eases the pain
and softens what binds. I can feel you inside me, under my skin,
as I open my heart and let all of you in,
the sweetness, the boldness, the uniqueness of you
opens me further — you feel me too! This wonderful pleasure, shared senses in time
reach deeply inside to a place now Divine,
where the words all have meaning and they are all kind, I’m immersed in our Truth:
your heart speaks to mine!
