“Every step taken for the wellbeing of others, echoes in the heartbeat of humanity”

The concept of community no longer applies to our immediate neighbours and friends. Community has expanded on a global scale as awareness of other’s suffering effects our lives in ways never before experienced.  It is in our natural humanness we reach out in support and kindness to make the world a better place.

This year’s annual Walk of Inspiration, continues to positively affect the lives of those who are less fortunate in other parts of the world. Funds raised will be supporting a number of initiatives through Humanity Healing including the building and development of eco villages for IDPs (Internationally Displaced Persons) refugees of war-torn Uganda. Other initiatives include education and economic development for women and children, health education for young girls and women, self-sustaining farming and community development as well as human rights concerns in Uganda, Africa. The 2009 Walk of Inspiration had 78 participants who were able to raise a total of $2754 for Charity.  This year our vision is to have more than 100 participants who will be able to generate a level of sponsorship donations in excess of $3000.

The Fraser Coast Camel Safari’s will be involved again this year.
