OMTIMES: Your Practical Intuition books have demystified the concept of intuition and helped many people embrace it. What is your personal definition of intuition? of healing?

We learned a great deal from reading Laura Day’s New York Times bestseller PRACTICAL INTUITION, and have studied with Laura since the 2001 publication of her sleeper classic THE CIRCLE (one of our most-gifted books to loved ones besides our own). Laura is an extraordinary woman with extraordinary abilities, one who has long believed that we ALL have access to these abilities if we take the time to learn about and practice them. Initially skeptical, we’ve come to believe she’s right. Intuition and healing are merely ways of reading and directing energy, and tools we’ve come to use every single day to experience greater effectiveness, creativity, wellness, and joyfulness in our lives. Laura has been amazingly generous in offering several free healing Circles in Woodstock, NY. One even took place during a feisty snowstorm, and it didn’t deter her for one moment.
First, she began by imparting some wisdom, with humor, grace and humility. Then the lights were dimmed, everyone found a safe and comfortable space in the room and Laura and her companion healers spread their warmth and healing energy throughout the room as they placed healing hands on each participant!
What a unique and beautiful opportunity. Many hearts and lives were touched.
At the end of the evening, as people slowly moved to the door one could here many murmuring things like, “Wow, that was amazing!” “And I felt my whole body heat up, it felt so good,” and ” I can’t wait for the next one.”

Laura Day has had such a profound impact on my life. I have devoured her books, (and guided meditations) and I can honestly say they have taught me how to navigate life with more grace, ease, and focus. I’ve referred to her books repeatedly throughout the years when I’m feeling blocked or stuck and invariably, I open the book and read the perfect thing for the situation. Although I’ve not been able to attend her boot camp yet, and believe me – it’s on my bucket list, what I’ve gleaned from her books has been life altering.
