Let Your Divine Soul Shine
Have you ever experienced that feeling as though you’ve lost your spark or just feel totally uninspired? There’s nothing unusual in these feelings, and you’re certainly not alone. It can happen for so many reasons whether it’s a stressful job, family commitments, or just the monotony of life—resulting in that feeling that you need a change.
When this happens, your daily routine can sometimes seem empty and lacking in purpose, focus and direction. Your perception of yourself and others may become more pessimistic. It’s another way of your soul letting you know, that maybe it’s time to pause from the relentless pace of modern day life, to take a moment to step back and rediscover your true nature, and let your divine soul shine bright again.
Time to Let Your Divine Soul Shine!
I believe one of the purposes of my newsletter, “Soul Inspirations,” is that I’m able to remind you that we all have times in our lives, or even moments, where we forget that we’re part of something far greater than ourselves. We forget that we are all a divine expression of God.
This is when we need to make a conscious effort to remember who we really are at a soul level. It’s something that may not be easy to do at first, but it is worthwhile and potentially life-changing.
John’s Lesson
Just for one day this week, practice seeing everyone as a divine soul. When you look into the mirror first thing in the morning, take a moment to see yourself as an earthly expression of the divine. Then, as you go about your day, make a point to view every single person you come into contact with during the day (YES, everyone!) as a divine soul. Use your imagination and your spiritual eyes to view the soul light.
One way to do this is to imagine that there’s a tiny light that’s visible in the heart center of everyone you meet. Observe how you begin to feel as you do this throughout the day. As your awareness of people’s souls expands, you’ll start to notice that you have a different perception and appreciation for others, as well as yourself.
We are and always will be connected to God – The Divine Source. When you begin to appreciate and live at the soul level, you’ll know you’re never alone. But more importantly, you’ll realize just how powerful you really are. And, with that knowing, you’ll find yourself making choices that are for your highest good and you will feel your divine soul shine again.
