Aretha Franklin Numerology Tribute

The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, has passed from our world but will never leave our hearts or spirit.

Aretha Franklin Numerology Tribute

by Greer Jonas

It is with great sorrow that I write this Aretha Franklin numerology tribute. She was influential to my growth as a teenager in the late 60s. I learned pride as a woman and caring about issues beyond my protective family’s cocoon. To me, she symbolized strength and being unafraid to share my creative passion. Singing and dancing to ‘Respect’ as loud as I could with my friends, was a popular pastime.

In August 2016, a few friends and I went to her concert in Massachusetts. Aretha’s demeanor was slower than usual as she was led on stage by her loving musicians and backup singers. She talked openly about her illness and healing journey. And then she sang and played piano in her soulful way. There was not a dry eye in the house and a standing ovation throughout the entire performance.

Being the Queen is not all about singing, and being a diva is not all about singing. It has much to do with your service to people. And your social contributions to your community and your civic contributions as well.Aretha Franklin

Franklin’s career of over 60 years was one of groundbreaking record hits and Grammy Awards. Songs like ‘Respect’ (written by Otis Redding) and ‘Natural Woman’ (written by Carol King) are immensely popular to this day.

From early on in her childhood as a gospel singer to the end of her life, Aretha was a symbol of feminism and civil rights. She led the way for musicians and entertainers to influence their audience through song.

Master number 66/3

The most striking number in Aretha Franklin’s numerology chart is the master 66/3 expression number. Master numbers occur when two digits are the same. They are considered ‘in mastery’ because it represents double the influence of the number. 6 is compassion, love, community, and healing. It is the strong value of family, community, and service. 66 is the master healer and compassionate being that makes a difference in the world with their song (the 3).

As Aretha Franklin shared in her 1999 autobiography, about her most popular hit song ‘Respect’ (written by Otis Redding)

“It was the need of a nation, the need of the average man and woman in the street, the businessman, the mother, the fireman, the teacher — everyone wanted respect. It was also one of the battle cries of the civil rights movement. The song took on monumental significance.” – Aretha Franklin.

The Queen of Soul honors Carol King

Enjoy Aretha as she honored Carol King at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2015. In full mink coat, Aretha sits down at the piano to play Natural Woman at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2015.

See how moved Carol King is. And the Obama’s. And everyone is singing to the song proudly “you make me feel like a natural woman“. We will miss you Aretha, but you will always be in our hearts.
